Hyrox Training in Long Island City

Hyrox training in Long Island City works differently here. Our coaches have raced Hyrox more than 20 times between them. That’s not a stat we throw around, it’s why the training here works. You’re not getting a workout built from a manual, you’re getting one built from race day.

What Hyrox Training in Long Island City Looks Like at The Trinity

Hyrox training runs Saturday mornings, with three sessions to choose from: 7:30am, 8:30am, and 9:30am. Each session is capped at 15 people, so it’s coached, not just programmed. You’ll work through the actual Hyrox race stations, ski erg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmer’s carry, lunges, wall balls, alongside the running intervals that connect them. The goal isn’t to exhaust you. It’s to build the specific engine and technique Hyrox actually demands.

Complements Your Strength Training, Or Stands Alone

If you’re already training with us during the week, Saturday Hyrox training slots in as the piece that ties your strength work to race performance. The engine and technique you build here is what lets your strength actually show up on race day, instead of getting buried under fatigue by the second station.

You don’t have to be a Trinity member to join, either. Hyrox training on its own is a complete way to train for the race: structured, coached, and built around the actual demands of the event, with or without a strength program behind it.

Who Hyrox Training in Long Island City Is For

You don’t need Hyrox experience to start. Some of the people training here are signed up for their first event and have never touched a sled. Others are chasing a personal best and know exactly where they’re losing time. Both get coached the same way: honestly, and based on where you actually are.

If you’re based in Long Island City, Astoria, or Sunnyside and searching for Hyrox training near you, this is built for exactly that.

Whether you’re prepping for your very first race or coming back for another one, the coaching adjusts to you. Nothing about Hyrox training here is one-size-fits-all, and nothing about your first session should feel like guesswork.

How We Program Hyrox Training

Hyrox training here runs in structured blocks, not random daily workouts. Each block builds toward specific race demands: compromised running (running while already fatigued from a station), grip endurance for the farmer’s carry and sled work, and the pacing strategy that separates a good Hyrox time from a rough one. Your coach adjusts the load and movement based on where you are in your training cycle and how close your race is.

Whether you’re six weeks out from your first Hyrox or building toward a specific time goal, the block you’re training in reflects that. Early blocks focus on movement quality and building a base engine. Closer to race day, sessions shift toward race-pace intervals and full station run-throughs, so the first time you feel that specific fatigue isn’t on race morning.
